• Donald Trump on 30th July, 2025 announced a reciprocal tariff on Indian goods exported to US. This action was taken to target the trade partners charging high tariffs on US goods.

This additional 25% was added stating that India's purchase of Russian oil is not viewed in good taste as per US president Donald Trump office which he thinks indirectly supports Russian war effort in Ukraine.
