Introduction to ANSI SQL

SQL is a structured query language which helps in storing, accessing the stored data and manipulating the data in the database.
SQL is based on ANSI standard. 
ANSI stands for American National Standards Institute.

SQL is built such that its syntax are simple and languge almost similar to English language. You will be able to get an idea by reading the query that what the query does.

There different versions of ANSI sql. But each of them support the general commands like  SELECT, CREATE, UPDATE, INSERT, etc.
