ISP provide you an Internet account for a monthly or yearly fee, using which you can manage your account.

It also provides other services such as website hosting and building.


If you are using internet services then the company who has provided you internet access is your internet service provider.

An internet service provider can be commercial, non-profit or privately owned.


Do you really need ISP to get access to internet services?

Yes, you need a ISP to get access to internet. Based on the amount of data that you have used you have to pay internet charges to your ISP.

ISP helps connect to internet using technologies like dial-up, Digital Subscriber Line (DSL), broadband, modem, wireless cable, Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN), etc.
