ISP is an abbreviation for Internet Service Provider.

ISP is company or organization that provides access to internet services to an individual or family or company or organization.

ISP provide you an Internet account using which you can manage your account.

It also provides other services such as website hosting and building.

 

If you are using internet services then the company who has provided you internet access is your internet service provider.

An internet service provider can be commercial, non-profit or privately owned.

 

Do you really need ISP to get access to internet services?

Yes, you need a ISP to get access to internet. Based on the amount of data that you have used you have to pay internet charges to your ISP.
